Things a Convicted Felon Is Not Allowed To Do in the United States
Other than become President, of course
On January 20, 2025, Donald Trump, a convicted felon, will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
Because most of the mainstream media is bending over backwards to obey in advance, I have not seen a single piece written about the implications of a convicted felon holding the highest political office in the land.
Starter pack of things a convicted felon cannot do in the United States:
Legal and Civil Rights Restrictions
Voting in some states. Rigged!
Serving on a jury in many states. Also rigged!
Holding public office except POTUS.
Possessing firearms. We have lots of guns!
Obtaining certain professional licenses. Won’t matter.
Running for federal office, except POTUS and some others, and type of conviction.
Serving in the military. Donald got out of it before with his bone spurs.
Immigrating or obtaining citizenship, if not a citizen. Only applies to the millions Donald will target.
Adopting a child. He’s had multiple children with multiple wives so we’re good there.
Filing for certain public benefits. These will largely be eliminated anyway.
Employment and Business Restrictions
Working in law enforcement. Who needs this anyway.
Being a firefighter. Socialism!
Holding security clearance. For some reason, I’m sure Donald will have it anyway.
Working in childcare or education. LOL
Becoming a lawyer. Person Man Woman Camera TV.
Obtaining a real estate license in some states. NY and Florida??
Working as a healthcare provider. But concepts of a plan ok.
Employment in banking or finance. Friends can still bribe you tho.
Owning a liquor license, in a lot of places. Mar A Lago mocktails anyone.
Running for certain union positions. What unions.
Starting a business in a regulated industry. No problemo.
Travel and Residency Restrictions
International travel. Some countries deny entry to felons, such as Canada.
Living in public housing. Somehow our tax dollars will pay for Mar a Lago.
Residing near schools or parks. More applicable to the GOP in general.
Obtaining a passport. Sure.
Living in certain states with strict restrictions. NY, DC, and Florida won’t care.
Financial and Government-Related Restrictions
Receiving federal student loans. What about bribes.
Applying for federal grants or contracts. Again, bribes.
Getting Social Security disability benefits while in prison. Eliminated or curtailed anyway.
Obtaining SNAP benefits. Eliminated most likely.
Parental and Family-Related Restrictions
Gaining custody of children. What if you don’t want them.
Participating in school activities with children. But Barron is graduating.
Visiting certain family members. Melania won’t text me back.
Voting and Civic Involvement
Registering to vote. In many states. Not that it will be enforced.
Signing ballot initiatives. Won’t be enforced.
Other
Joining certain organizations or associations. He only needs Mar A Lago.
Serving as a fiduciary or executor. I wouldn’t trust him with my wallet.
Holding certain driver's licenses. What about driving a garbage truck.
Obtaining an insurance license. No comment.
Participating in some state lotteries. The whole system is a casino now.
What am I missing?
